The MaxView 40 is a unique fully multi-coated eyepiece and variable projection camera adapter all in one. For use as an eyepiece the eyeguard can be set to any height allowing for matching the eye relief to your eye for more comfortable viewing. In the left picture the threaded eyeguard has been removed revealing the integral "T" thread on the top of the eyepiece. The picture on the right shows how the outer sleeve can be adjusted up or down to the optimum setting to minimize vignetting for your particular camera.
