This kit consists of an 8x8 feet Non-Backed Chromatte Curtain with Small Blue LiteRing. The LiteRing connects to the camera with a specially designed adapter ring. With the LiteRing in place, you have a perfectly aligned and corrected light source to perfectly key the special background material. The Reflecmedia Chromatte fabric is designed specifically for use as a background for Chroma key production. Unlike conventional Chroma key fabrics that are usually blue or green in color, in ambient light Chromatte is grey to the eye. The fabric contains millions of tiny glass beads that act as reflectors: when the directional light from Reflecmedia’s lens-mounted LiteRing – hits the fabric, it is returned on the same path back into the camera’s lens. This retro-reflective process means the camera ‘sees’ the apparently grey fabric as a perfectly even blue or green background.

The viewfinder's optical system consists of five elements, two of which are moved for the changing of the field of view. Despite being highly suitable for eyeglass wearers (pupil distance 15mm to the last optic surface), the lens features extremely high magnification and therefore good detail rendition. The magnification is 0.42x for the 21mm setting, 0.48x for 24mm and 0.56x for 28mm. If the viewfinder is to be used without eyeglasses, the correction lenses for the Leica M camera can be screwed on to correct vision defects. The eyepiece is rubber-armored to protect the viewer's eyeglasses. The extremely robust body of the viewfinder is made of anodized aluminum and is available in black or silver to match the two camera models. The base of the viewfinder is also aluminum and can be secured to the accessory shoe of the camera with a large clamp screw. A specially adapted leather case with a loop for attachment to the camera bag or photographer's belt accommodates the viewfinder when not in use.
